Building a Compassionate Homeschool Community

Legacy Homeschool Resource Center is just getting started on this important mission – creating an all-inclusive hub offering support and resources to home school families across the spectrum.

Laying the Groundwork

At the heart of Legacy Homeschool Resource Center lies our commitment to family discipleship, rooted in the biblical family model where parents are the primary educators.  We envision a welcoming space for parents to gather, collaborate, and access specialized services. We are laying the groundwork to champion diverse learning styles, partner with our community to over a broader range of services to our homeschool families, and bridge gaps, making quality homeschooling attainable for all.

We Need Your Help

But we can’t do it alone.  Your generous donations and sponsorships are critical to making our educational programs, resources, and support services available to homeschooling families. Please consider partnering with us financially so we can continue empowering parents, enriching students, and creating community for generations to come.  Now is a crucial time to get involved and help us build this one-of-a-kind resource center from the ground up!

Current Needs:

  • Building/Facility (minimum 20,000 sq ft)
  • Furniture for the Center
  • Computers & Technology for Center
  • Share LHRC with those who might be interested in volunteering/teaching with us
  • Share LHRC with families who can benefit from our services.

  • Praying for Legacy Homeschool Resource Center is a top priority. We have seen God move big, and He is hearing our prayers. We need continued support in prayer as we move along this journey and step out in faithful obedience.

  • Become a monthly sponsor to provide consistent, reliable support that enables us to plan for the future and expand our offerings to homeschoolers

At the heart of Legacy Homeschool Resource Center lies our commitment to family discipleship, rooted in the biblical family model where parents are the primary educators (Deuteronomy 6:7), guiding their children in the path of faith and knowledge. At LHRC, families will encounter the love of Christ through a holistic approach encompassing academic programs, artistic expression, physical fitness, exploration of creation, unwavering support, fervent prayer, a tight-knit community, and a wealth of educational resources.

Legacy Homeschool Resource Center is a place where homeschool families can find a supportive community to join them in educating and discipling the next generation of Christ-followers.

Modeled after Jay and Heidi St. John’s successful organization, Firmly Planted HRC, our dream is to plant a center right here in the heart of Middle Tennessee.

What We Do:

LHRC exists to equip and connect homeschooling families. From classes, to counseling, to coffeeshop talks, we intend to empower families at every stage of homeschooling.
