We are dedicated to providing a faith-based education that holistically develops students and prepares the next generation of leaders guided by Christian principles. Our mission is to create an enduring legacy of faith, knowledge, and service by uniting and equipping parents, students, and educators.
Legacy Homeschool Resource Center is just getting started on this important mission – creating an all-inclusive hub offering support and resources to home school families across the spectrum.
At the heart of Legacy Homeschool Resource Center lies our commitment to family discipleship, rooted in the biblical family model where parents are the primary educators. We envision a welcoming space for parents to gather, collaborate, and access specialized services. We are laying the groundwork to champion diverse learning styles, partner with our community to over a broader range of services to our homeschool families, and bridge gaps, making quality homeschooling attainable for all.
But we can’t do it alone. Your generous donations and sponsorships are critical to making our educational programs, resources, and support services available to homeschooling families. Please consider partnering with us financially so we can continue empowering parents, enriching students, and creating community for generations to come. Now is a crucial time to get involved and help us build this one-of-a-kind resource center from the ground up!
We are excited to let you know how things are moving forward!
Legacy Homeschool Resource Center is a place where homeschool families can find a supportive community to join them in educating and discipling the next generation of Christ-followers.
Modeled after Jay and Heidi St. John’s successful organization, Firmly Planted HRC, our dream is to plant a center right here in the heart of Middle Tennessee.
LHRC exists to equip and connect homeschooling families. From classes, to counseling, to coffeeshop talks, we intend to empower families at every stage of homeschooling.
Our partners are passionate about seeing children excel in their God-given talents and empowering families who choose homeschooling. Legacy HRC is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
We are so much more than a location for classes, we are a community. We desire to see every parent supported and every student flourishing.
"It's exciting to be a part of what God is doing in the homeschool community. As more and more families are taking back the reins of responsibility for educating their children, may we come alongside them in training up the next generation...together."
-Jennifer Burtram - Founder
"I am thrilled to join Legacy as God continues to move in our local homeschool community. My hope is to come alongside families who are taking back responsibility for educating their children, providing support so they can train up the next generation. Together we can build strong, God-centered families."
-Jessica Morgan - Founder
"In my opinion, one of the most important things to do, when deciding to homeschool, is to get involved in a community with other homeschoolers. When we first started homeschooling, we really didn't know many families who were in the same season of life. It sometimes felt isolating, scary and overwhelming. My dream is that this center becomes that community for every homeschooling family in Middle Tennessee. I pray this is a place of support, advice, and love that carries families throughout their homeschooling Era and beyond. I pray we shine the Lord's light into this area by consistently being his hands and feet, and that lives are changed here for the glory of God forever."
