Legacy Homeschool Resource Center is deeply committed to supporting Middle Tennessee families in their homeschool journey. As a Christ-centered organization, our focus is on providing a holistic educational experience for the whole homeschool family. Our mission is rooted in the concept of family discipleship, where parents serve as primary educators, guided by the biblical model found in Deuteronomy 6:7. This principle forms the core of our educational approach, nurturing children in both faith and knowledge.
Above all, when families join LHRC, they can expect a comprehensive and Christ-centered experience. Our offerings include academic programs, artistic opportunities, physical fitness activities, exploration of God’s creation, unwavering support, fervent prayer, community connections, and a wealth of educational resources. We aim to create an environment where families can thrive in various aspects of their homeschooling journey.
Looking ahead to the next 12-15 months, we have exciting plans for the full launch of Legacy Homeschool Resource Center.

1. Finding and Securing a Facility: We are actively searching for a suitable facility to accommodate all aspects of our vision and resources.
2. Building Our Team: Recruiting and hiring an excellent staff is crucial to serving families with care and excellence, aligning with our mission.
3. Fundraising: Launching fundraising efforts to cover costs related to acquiring and renovating our new facility. Community support is instrumental in realizing this dream.
4. Licensing and Renovations: Completing all required licensing, permits, and renovations to create a warm and welcoming facility tailored to homeschooling families.
5. Stocking and Furnishing Our Center: We are planning to stock the library, purchase furniture, and incorporate technology to equip our space for success, leaving no detail overlooked.
6. Enrollment Period Opens: Announcing an open enrollment period once the facility is ready, inviting families to join the LHRC community.
7. Hosting Events and Activities: Keeping the community engaged with our event calendar, as we plan to host various events and recruitment activities to showcase what LHRC has to offer.
8. Grand Opening Celebration: Commemorating the official grand opening with a special celebration, marking the realization of a long-held vision.
9. Assessing and Planning for the Future: Continually assessing our goals and metrics while exploring additional revenue streams, with a commitment to improving and expanding our offerings.
