You Don’t Have to Homeschool Alone

Homeschooling can feel overwhelming when you are sorting through curriculum choices, schedules, learning challenges, and all the questions that come with educating your children well. At Legacy Homeschool Resource Center, our homeschool coaching program is designed to give parents personalized support, practical guidance, and the confidence to move forward with a clear plan.

Whether you are just getting started or need help strengthening what is not working, we are here to come alongside your family.

Personalized Support for Your Homeschool Journey

Homeschool coaching is one-on-one guidance for parents from experienced homeschool mentors who understand both the joys and the challenges of home education.

We help families:

  • get started homeschooling with confidence
  • choose curriculum that fits their child and family
  • create a realistic homeschool plan
  • work through learning struggles and challenges
  • navigate multiple ages and stages
  • prepare for middle school, high school, and college
  • understand NCAA eligibility and plan their homeschool high school years for students interested in college sports
  • connect with helpful local homeschool resources and community

You do not need more information overload. You need wisdom, encouragement, and a plan that fits your family.

Patty Johnson

Coach

Patty has recently completed her homeschooling journey after homeschooling all 5 of her sons all the way through. Her passion for helping others along this incredible journey has come from 25 years of others pouring into her family. She has used her background in education to help overcome learning challenges, dyslexia, ADD, and ultimately instilling a love for learning. Over the years, she has taught and directed several coops and tutorials in both Texas and Tennessee, giving her a lot of varied experiences with a variety of curriculum. Homeschooling has proven to be a huge benefit for her family, and she wants to encourage others along the way. When not teaching, she can be found reading, doing puzzles, hiking, or spending time with family, especially around a table, eating, talking, and laughing together.
