Vicki Whitlock

Head Softball Coach

Meet Coach Vicki

My husband and I have three children named Chris, Addi and Enoch. We have lived in Gladeville for almost 15 years. We have two dogs, two cats, two rats, a turtle, a bearded Dragon, a rabbit, three peacocks, three guineas and lots of chickens. If I am not coaching, I love to go on mission trips, camping, kayaking, bouldering and ATV in Sedona AZ.

I started as an assistant coach when my daughter started 8u. It truly was a God thing, the head coach asked to lock my daughter in on her team. I said yes and from then on doors just opened up. I realized when I was on one of my mission trips coaching a sport, I didn’t know anything about how much I loved coaching the kids. I loved to see them learn and just have a great time playing. I eventually went from assistant coach to head coach. I have been the head coach for recreation softball and a travel softball team since Fall 2018. I ended up handing the travel ball team over because we had just adopted our son. He was only two at the time and I needed to be with him more. I am a member of NAYS, National Alliance for Youth Sports. I have a coach rating which is 92.7%. I’m currently working on my NFHS Middle School Coaching Level 1 Certification. I plan on taking NFHS Middle School Coaching Level 2 and 3.

Being a Christain softball coach has made me so excited to be able to share my love of Jesus and missions freely with my team. I would love to be able to get the girls involved as a team in local missions. My goal for my team is for the girls to grow as a sister in Christ and as a softball player.
