Beast Academy

Beast Academy, a math curriculum for grades one through five, stands out from all other math programs because it is presented in a comic book format. Cartoon characters—staff and students at Beast Academy—are introduced at the beginning of each book, and the same characters are used throughout the series. Beast Academy Online now also offers students most of the same content presented in an interactive format.

Dimensions Math by Spingapore

Dimensions Math is a series for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade that is based on the methods and advanced scope and sequence of the Primary Mathematics series (popularly known as Singapore Math.) The Dimensions Math PK-8 series retains the key features of Primary Mathematics, but it has been designed to be more suitable for U.S. teachers and students. In addition, the lesson presentations have been fleshed out with better explanations and activities. Many parents will appreciate having more direction for teaching lessons and more optional activities, while other parents might prefer the sparser instructional information in Primary Mathematics.

Horizons Math

Horizons Math, for grades K-8, is a well-balanced, organized approach for teaching primary math skills and algebraic concepts. Composed of manipulatives, memorization, and drill, Horizons Math follows a deliberate pattern of introduction and gradual development to ensure student success. Fundamental concepts previously obtained in earlier units are reviewed in subsequent grade levels for true mastery. The goal of Horizons Math is for your student to develop solid math reasoning skills and learn to apply these skills to real-life situations. The major themes covered in this Christian homeschool curriculum are Numbers, Order, and Value; Addition and Subtraction; Ratios, Measurement, and Decimals; Fractions and Comparison; Equations, Colors, and Geometry; Graphs, Estimation, and Solving; Multiplication and Division; Linear and Quadratic Equations; Radical Expressions; Monomials and Polynomials; and Functions.

Primary Math by Singapore

This program teaches children to think mathematically rather than just having them memorize the mechanics of problem solving. Primary Mathematics lays a solid foundation for conceptual understanding through a three-step process that uses concrete, pictorial, and abstract approaches to learning. Teaching concepts from a number of directions challenges students to think about how the math processes work..
