Homeschooling – From a single book to an Entire Program
CTC Math is an online, subscription-based math program for kindergarten through high school created and taught by Australian math teacher Patrick Murray. It is intended to serve as your core math program, although it could also be used to supplement other math courses.
Dimensions Math is a series for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade that is based on the methods and advanced scope and sequence of the Primary Mathematics series (popularly known as Singapore Math.) The Dimensions Math PK-8 series retains the key features of Primary Mathematics, but it has been designed to be more suitable for U.S. teachers and students. In addition, the lesson presentations have been fleshed out with better explanations and activities. Many parents will appreciate having more direction for teaching lessons and more optional activities, while other parents might prefer the sparser instructional information in Primary Mathematics.
Horizons Math, for grades K-8, is a well-balanced, organized approach for teaching primary math skills and algebraic concepts.
