Handwriting Without Tears is a proven program for teaching handwriting to children. Developed by OTs, it uses multisensory techniques to make writing fun.
People used to talk about someone having a “good hand.” It was a compliment on their penmanship. Despite the onset of computer technology, the need for a good hand has not gone away. Not only do we still have plenty of occasions to write by hand, but research continues to show that writing by hand helps in knowledge retention and writing ability. In addition to our manuscript copybooks, our New American Cursive will teach your child how to write more consistently and legibly, as well as to do it faster.
