Homeschooling – From a single book to an Entire Program
Memoria Press exists to promote and impart the classical heritage of the Christian West. We do this through an emphasis on the liberal arts and the great works of the Western tradition. In order to achieve this goal, we have produced a comprehensive and accessible classical Christian curriculum that encourages the development of wisdom and virtue through a pursuit of the Good, the True, and the Beautiful. Created by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the acclaimed MUZZY language learning courses target your child’s optimal years to learn a second or even a third language. The lovable MUZZY and his delightful friends will guide your child on the journey to learning a new language. MUZZY BBC is designed for children as young as two up to age 12 or older. Reading AND non-reading children can use, and learn from, MUZZY. MUZZY’s entertaining and captivating video story is appealing – and effective – to children of all ages.
Rosetta Stone Homeschool is a series of foreign language programs that helps the student understand spoken words as well as written ones. While this is primarily a conversational approach, there is also some grammar instruction. Lessons are presented online and can be accessed with a computer, tablet, or smartphone. You can also download lessons for use when you don’t have an internet connection.
The Learnable offers foreign language instruction in Spanish, French, German, and Hebrew that are downloaded and installed on most desktops and laptops but not Chromebooks or other mobile devices. Students still need an internet connection to work in the program after it’s downloaded.
