All About Reading

All About Reading (AAR) is an intensive phonics program for pre-kindergarten through about fourth grade that uses the Orton-Gillingham methodology. With this method, 97% of English words can be learned according to phonetic rules, leaving only 3% to be learned as sight words.

AAR consists of two main parts: the Pre-reading program (teaching essential pre-reading skills) and the Reading program (consisting of Levels 1 through 4).

This scripted, open-and-go program was developed for busy parents, teachers, and tutors who want to teach reading in the most effective way possible.

  • Research-based multisensory instruction with lightly scripted lessons that give results with only 20 minutes a day
  • Proven, mastery-based program that covers phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension ensuring no gaps in learning
  • Backed by our amazing one-year money-back guarantee and lifetime support

Memoria Press

Memoria Press exists to promote and impart the classical heritage of the Christian West. We do this through an emphasis on the liberal arts and the great works of the Western tradition. In order to achieve this goal, we have produced a comprehensive and accessible classical Christian curriculum that encourages the development of wisdom and virtue through a pursuit of the Good, the True, and the Beautiful. Our motto is “Saving Western Civilization One Student at a Time” and expresses our passion for defending and transferring the culture of the Christian West through classical education.

Our series curricula are designed to support kids in developing 8 critical skills, and each series highlights one as the “focus skill” through a 10-week learning plan. Each lesson is designed to facilitate play & learning for an entire week. Lessons begin with a 10 to 15 minute video that includes songs, rituals and an “invitation” designed to inspire kids to get outside and play. After the initial lesson, reference your Lesson page for printable resources, activities and more to keep the play going all week long!

Each lesson uses materials families typically have on hand or can find in any simple greenspace. Some examples include bowls, water, string or dirt. We provide alternatives, too, just in case a particular everyday material is hard to find when you need it. Once you subscribe, you’ll be able find a list of suggested items you’ll use with each lesson in your Tinkergarten dashboard.
