Social Events
0About this course
In addition to academics and extracurricular activities, Legacy Homeschool Resource Center brings students and families together through fun social events throughout the year. These events aim to provide a sense of community while giving homeschoolers a chance to meet peers and form friendships.
For students, we host seasonal parties like back-to-school bashes, holiday celebrations, and end-of-year picnics. Field day events offer friendly competitions in sports and games, talent shows encourage students to showcase their skills and dances allow students to dress up and enjoy age-appropriate music and activities.
For parents, we facilitate regular homeschool mom’s night out events to take a break and connect over coffee or a meal. Family game nights bring the whole gang together for board games, trivia, and races. Outdoor movie nights under the stars make for affordable family bonding. Holiday parties allow parents to mingle while kids participate in themed crafts and activities.
Social events may vary by season, but all share the common goal of facilitating community and giving homeschool families a chance to have fun and make memories together. Our inclusive activities provide socialization in a safe, welcoming environment.
